How do you like the new intro? This is an overview of the battery life while using my Google Pixel 2 daily on T-Mobile LTE all day, and Wi-Fi when at home in the evening. My day consists of Spotify, Reddit, Duo, and Chrome. I keep location on but location history off, with brightness at around 40%. Let me know what you think in the comments below. I do not play any games which is probably why it lasts so well for me. Coming from a Pixel XL, this phone holds up just as well.
This in depth video and image comparison really surprised me. I reveal at the end which one is the Google Pixel 2 and which one is the Apple iPhone 8. They were both set to record in 4k30 (Non HEVC) for equal comparison, and their image modes were on default settings.
It is a little hard to perfectly align them as the Pixel 2 uses EIS which crops the image and prevents small movements while the iPhone 8 uses OIS allowing for more to fit in the frame when compared to the Pixel 2.
This video preserves all of the original GoPro recordings in 4k30. There is no editing other than stitching the videos together and adding music. Let me know in the comments below if you have any specific scenarios or settings you want to see tested.
