AYL Shower Speaker Review

The Shower Bluetooth 4.1 Speaker by AYL SoundFit is a small yet powerful speaker. It is touted to have 5 watts of output power, be water resistant, and last 10 hours per charge.
It sounds good for a speaker of this size, and it puts out quite a punch, shaking in your hand from the bass. It is no where near the best speaker, but when you factor in it’s size and cost, it is hard to go wrong with the AYL Shower Speaker.

Rockford Fosgate P300-12 Punch 300 Watt Subwoofer Review + 8 AWG Amplifier Install Kit

Driving around was never as good as it should’ve been, the low end bass in my car was just lacking. After weeks of research, I landed on the Rockford Fosgate P300-12 Punch subwoofer. This subwoofer is powered and does not need any external amplifier to work. It only needs two wires going to the battery, and two wires going to the head unit or line out converter for Mazda vehicles with a TAU.
As you can see in the picture, the trunk just barely fits this beast. The sound on the lows is clean, and hits just right. You would be amazed with the sound and quality of an enclosed sub this size with no external amplifier. The connection to the battery was made using a special wiring kit called the Rockford Fosgate 8 AWG Amplifier Install Kit with Interconnect. The main wire came with a 60 amp fuse and fuse holder. Just look at how nice the fuse fit onto my battery!
Overall, for much less than the cost it would have been to professionally install a passive sub with a dedicated amplifier, the Rockford Fosgate 12 inch subwoofer really impressed me.

Burei Watches Hands On Review

Burei watches first showed up on Slickdeals about a year ago for me. I immediately loved what I saw and ordered one. Since then I have ordered 3 more and have worn them daily for about a year. They look great, get me tons of compliments every time I wear them, and are very affordable!

How to Maximize Download Speed with a Cable Modem Upgrade – SURFboard SB6190 Review

Maximizing your internet speed is always tricky, there can be so many factors to consider with so many of them unknown to anyone outside of your cable company.
After researching for hours, it became apparent that one thing was important, number of download channels. Many of the cable modems people use are several years old, with only 4 or 8 download channels. Theoretically this should be able to handle the speeds they pay for, but when these channels are congested, much like a freeway is sometimes, additional channels would help.
This brought me to the best seller on Amazon, the ARRIS SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem (SB6190) that had a whopping 32 download channels. The key here is that with the tier of internet I was paying for, a representative informed me that I had 24 download channels available. Knowing that, I could not settle for a new modem with only 16 channels.
The results were immediately apparent, I was paying for 150MBPS, and now I was getting over 190MBPS. Utilizing my connection to the fullest was finally becoming a reality with just a new modem.

APEC Top Tier Supreme Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Filter System (ULTIMATE RO-90) – Review

I ordered two things from Amazon:
- APEC Top Tier Supreme Certified High Flow 90 GPD Ultra Safe Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Filter System (ULTIMATE RO-90)
- Water Quality Tester
Immediately on arrival I began testing my tap water. It registered over 700 PPM (Parts Per Million)! That is well above any standard for safe drinking water and I was glad to have bought a reverse osmosis system.
Installation was relatively easy, taking about one hour to complete. There were detailed instructions to guide me through the whole process.
At this point, the new system was up and running. Immediately there was a difference in the smell, taste, and detected PPM.
The final installed APEC Ultimate RO 90 is shown below:
And finally, after one month of use, there has been a consistent sub 65 PPM reading on the TDS meter as shown below:
This is a rejection rate of 91.3%, which is definitely good for an affordable home RO system.
