  • Apple iPhone X vs. Google Pixel 2 Camera Comparison | 4k | Images | Day | Night

    The images are first and are followed by videos of the same scenes. The videos were taken in non HEVC format in 4k 30 fps. They are very hard to align as one uses EIS & OIS while the other uses just OIS. The Pixel 2 with EIS ends up having a smaller field of view and shifts not directly with my movements. The phones seem to perform differently in overcast weather with rain, as I was surprised how they took turns besting each other. I hope you enjoy the video!   • Google Pixel 2 vs. Apple iPhone 8 Camera Test | EIS OIS 4k Images

    This in depth video and image comparison really surprised me. I reveal at the end which one is the Google Pixel 2 and which one is the Apple iPhone 8. They were both set to record in 4k30 (Non HEVC) for equal comparison, and their image modes were on default settings.


    It is a little hard to perfectly align them as the Pixel 2 uses EIS which crops the image and prevents small movements while the iPhone 8 uses OIS allowing for more to fit in the frame when compared to the Pixel 2.

  • OnePlus One 4k DCI Nature Camera Test (Unprocessed)

    I found a nice spot to test out the OnePlus One’s 4k DCI mode. The Original File was 56 seconds with a bit rate of 64.7 mbps and stereo audio at 192 kbps at a sample rate of 48kHz. The file was 433 mb and has a resolution of 4096×2160 with a frame rate of 24 fps. I have included the full information about the video below it. Enjoy!
